What is AdBlue Off software?
AdBlue Off software (also called SCR Off or DEF Delete) is a professional ECU calibration tool that disables the Selective Catalytic Reduction system in the engine control unit. It neutralizes the AdBlue pump, upstream and downstream NOx sensors, quality and level probes, plus all related fault codes.

Yes, that's the main benefit. Once the SCR system is software-disabled, the vehicle no longer goes into limp mode or no-start condition if the AdBlue tank is empty or faulty.
